He has expertise in incorporation, founder matters, strategic advisory, general corporate and securities law, venture capital financings, merger and acquisitions, and public offerings. His clients represent a wide variety of companies from consumer internet, enterprise (applications to infrastructure), security, telecommunications and entertainment technology industries to those focused on triple bottom-line outcomes. Nic has advised startup companies that have sold to Google, Yahoo, Autodesk, Cisco, Arctic Wolf and others. In addition, Nic represents a number of angel investors and prominent venture capital firms on investment transactions and portfolio company-related matters. Nic lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two kids, loves skiing and long runs, and tries to get to his home state of Oregon as often as possible.
